Wilkes University Alpha Phi chapter hosted the Lambda Kappa Sigma Annual Convention
The Wilkes University Alpha Phi chapter hosted the Lambda Kappa Sigma annual convention in Scranton, Pennsylvania from July 20-23, 2016. Over 150 current members and alumni from all across the country attended this convention. This year's educational and leadership development program was "Your Road Map to Success." This program provided the tools needed for critical decision-making "as they encounter the various personal, academic and professional decision points and crossroads of life."
The Alpha Phi chapter took home many awards. The Alpha Phi Alumni chapter won Chapter of the Year. The Alpha Phi Collegiate chapter won Chapter of the Year in the Mid-Atlantic region and placed third in the Core Values poster presentation. Sandy Mullen, Wilkes University alumni, was also initiated as Grand President on Grand Council.
Drs. Pezzino and Powers, would like to congratulate and acknowledge the Alpha Phi chapter, especially Kayla Bardzel, President of LKS, and Courtney Calamia, Past-President, on all of their hard work and countless hours spent organizing this wonderful convention!
