Students Explore Careers in Law at Wilkes University Law Day on March 28
Exploring a career as a lawyer will be the focus when Wilkes University hosts Law Day on Tuesday, March 28. The keynote address, “Law 101,” will be delivered at 9 a.m. by Ed Ciaramboli 1995 Wilkes graduate and partner at Fellerman & Ciaramboli.
Current Wilkes students and high school students considering attending Wilkes are invited to attend the free event, which will be held in the Miller Room at the Henry Student Center on the Wilkes campus from 8:30 a.m. – 1 p.m. The program is free, and advance registration is required and available at wilkes.edu/lawday. Kyle Kreider, pre-law advisor at Wilkes University, will be present to meet prospective students.
The event also features a panel discussion at 9:30 a.m. with current Wilkes students discussing “Helping Students Prepare for Law School.” A second panel at 10:45 will explore “Law School and Lawyer: What to Expect”. The panel will feature practicing attorneys Leonard Gryskewicz, a 2012 Wilkes graduate and associate attorney at Sabatini Law Firm LLC; Justin Richards, a 2008 Wilkes graduate and assistant district attorney for Luzerne County; and Kelly Ciravolo, a 2001 Wilkes graduate and associate attorney at Anzalone Law Office.
