Wilkes University Students in the Jay S. Sidhu School of Business and Leadership Raise Money for The Northeast Regional Cancer Institute

Wilkes University students in the Jay S. Sidhu School of Business and Leadership raised $113 to benefit Northeast Regional Cancer Institute. The four freshmen sold cancer awareness socks as part of a requirement for their integrated management course.

Delfina Bracchi, Alec Lavin, Zephrin Morse and John Bamford were required to formulate a business idea and product. This year-long course and project resulted in the students selling three different cancer awareness socks on campus.

The Northeast Cancer Institute is a nonprofit community-based agency that serves northeast Pennsylvania with offices in Scranton and Wilkes-Barre. It invests 100 percent of its resources locally.
