Veterans Expo and Career Fair at Wilkes University

Military veterans can learn more about educational and career opportunities at the Veterans Expo and Career Fair on May 12 from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. on the second floor of the Henry Student Center at Wilkes University. The expo is open to the public to assist with employment opportunities, with the main focus on serving the veteran population. This event is free and open to the public.

There will be a morning workshop addressing entitlements led by a representative from the American Legion to inform students and community veterans on the benefits they are entitled to receive, such as education. In addition, there will be sessions on skill transfer and a community resource panel.

The afternoon will consist of the career and education fair. Some of the participating organizations are Geisinger, Keystone College, U.S. Department of Veteran Affairs, TMG Health, CareerLink, Tobyhanna Army Depot, Keystone Automation, Inc., Securitas, and Wilkes University.
