Wilkes University Theatre Presents Our Town Oct. 1-4

Wilkes University Theatre opens its 2015-2016 season with a production of Thornton Wilder’s Our Town. Performances are Oct. 1-3 at 8 p.m. and Oct. 4 at 2 p.m. at the Dorothy Dickson Darte Center for the Performing Arts. Directed by Jon Liebetrau, assistant professor of theatre, the Pulitzer Prize-winning play delves into the complexity of the human experience by peeking into seemingly simples lives of people in the town of Grover’s Corners, N.H., revealing profound meaning. The play stars James Cahill as George Gibb and Taylor Lamerand as Emily Webb. 

General admission is $10, $5 for students and seniors and free for all Wilkes students, faculty and staff with ID. For more information, please call the box office at 570-408-4540.
