i2M Presents Donation to Support Science Programs at Wilkes University

i2M recently made a gift to Wilkes University through the Educational Improvement Tax Credit program. This gift will support innovative programming at Wilkes, including Science in Motion, Women Empowered by Science and Adventures in Science. These programs exemplify the University’s commitment to providing multiple opportunities for strengthening engagement with science among students in public schools.

Company representative Chris Hackett said, “We’re excited to support a great institution and community leader such as Wilkes University.  The engagement of young students, particularly females, in the sciences and engineering is very important to the future of our region and i2M’s manufacturing business.  Importantly, this financial contribution is made possible because of the technical skills and commitment to excellent of our team.”

If you would like more information about these programs or giving to Wilkes through the Educational Improvement Tax Credit program, please contact Lauren Pluskey, director of annual giving at Wilkes University, at 570-408-4331.
