Thomas Mackinnon

Mr.   Thomas  S.  MacKinnon

Vice President
Advancement

Thomas MacKinnon was appointed vice president for university advancement in November 2015. In this role he oversees the university's development, alumni, and marketing communications efforts. He previously served as chief of staff to the president of Marquette University, as well as interim vice president for university advancement. Prior to Marquette, MacKinnon served in several leadership roles at The University of Scranton, including chief of staff and executive assistant to the president. In addition, he served as vice president at an international fundraising consulting firm. MacKinnon brings experience in strategic planning, board development, leadership coaching, organizational structure/development and fundraising. 

He serves on the board of trustees of Camden Catholic High School in Cherry Hill, N.J. and has extensive experience in serving the underprivileged in Latin America and East Africa. MacKinnon received his bachelor of arts in English literature from Fordham University.
