Our program is offered in a convenient low-residency or "weekender" format.

Your first residency must be attended in-person. For the next two terms, you will have the option of taking the winter residencies as a "Weekender."

Creative Writing Residencies

January

  • Jan. 5 to 13, 2024
  • Jan 3 to 11, 2025

June

  • June 21 to 29, 2024
  • June 20 to 28, 2025

Online learning with four face-to-face Zoom sessions that cover the same material as during the residencies.

  • Winter: Jan. 5-7, 20-21 and 27-28
  • Summer: Limited Weekender options (by Director's permission only)

Tuition

  • MA Courses: $750 per credit plus applicable fees.
  • MFA Courses: $675 per credit plus applicable fees.

(Lower rates available for non-degree-seeking classes and master classes)

Fees

Semester Fees

  • University Fee - $84 per credit hour
  • Residency Fee - $200 per residency
  • Housing and meals during residency is to be determined and will vary between June and January residences (usually $200-$275 per student)

One-Time Fees

  • $35 non-refundable application fee
  • Graduation Fee - $170 (Charged to graduating students in their last semester)
Upon acceptance, each student must pay a $300 non-refundable deposit to hold their seat in their selected residency.
