Sullivan Hall is one of our largest houses.
Sullivan Hall is a co-ed 1st year and upperclassman residence hall. The capacity of this building is 37 beds with a support staff of one RA. Singles, doubles, and triples are offered as housing options.
Summer 2004 renovations included the addition of a large lounge area as well as bathroom and kitchen updates. Quite a facelift!
If you were at Wilkes before 1969 Sullivan Hall was still an apartment building. Wilkes
College then purchased the structure and named it in honor of Major General John Sullivan
who led a military expedition against the Iroquois Indians in 1779, following the
Battle of Wyoming. The building's exact date of construction is a mystery. It does not appear on any
Wilkes-Barre atlases until 1933.
