Wilkes University is in the Poconos!


Wilkes University’s Poconos Center is now open! Our new facility, located at the Shoppes at Crossroad on 611 in Bartonsville (next to Giant Food Store) offers programs for working adults – to help accomplish your personal and professional goals.

Adult Bachelor of Business Administration

This program accepts transfer credits from other institutions while helping you achieve your personal an
d professional goals. Classes are held on Saturdays with additional coursework completed online.

Master of Business Administration

Designed for working adults, our MBA offers convenient evening classes.  Students can take classes in the Poconos and on campus in Wilkes-Barre to complete to this degree in as little as one year. MBA classes address advanced topics in accounting, entrepreneurship, finance, health care, human resources, international business, marketing and operations management.

Master of Science in Engineering Management

Our master of science degree in Engineering Management allows engineers to earn their master’s degree and position themselves for a management position. Convenient evening classes are located less than 20 miles from the Tobyhanna Army Depot.

Continued Learning

Wilkes is partnering with the American Payroll Association (APA) to offer continuing education courses for payroll professionals in the Poconos. Courses cover the skills deemed necessary by the APA for payroll professionals and are the basis for the Fundamental Payroll Certification and Certified Payroll Professional examinations. They are appropriate for a variety of professional roles including bookkeepers, accounting clerks, and for practitioners in payroll, compensation and human resources.
